ECO-Dens are just around the corner!
By now most projects should be nearing completion with the submission deadline 24th Feb fast approaching.
Just a reminder- All groups must submit:
- A fully completed submission form which can be downloaded here ….
- A personal/visual record of the work your group has achieved during development of the project
- Worksheets or evaluation sheets from the YEA manual
- A group photo.
All groups should have received a Judging and Submission Factsheet in the post by now if not a copy of this can be found here (pdf of judging and submission factsheet)
As phase one of the Young Environmentalist Awards draws to an end we can now start to look forward to phase two: the regional ECO-Dens.
At the regional ECO-dens shortlisted groups from phase one will be invited to pitch their projects to a panel of judges and convince the judges that their project is worthy of making it onto the final shortlist and being showcased at the Young Environmentalist Award Ceremony on May 8th 2012. The following are the dates and locations of the regional ECO dens.

| Leinster | Tuesday March 27th and Wednesday March 28th | ECO-UNESCO, The Greenhouse, 17 Saint Andrew St., Dublin 2 |

I’m really excited because today I visited the Jesus and Mary Secondary School otherwise know as the Salerno school in Salthill, Galway.
